The house I'm buying...

...or trying to buy.  Seems like all of the paper work takes forever and there are always issues....but I'm totally in love with it and can't wait to finally be able to call it mine!  It's not huge, but it's very cozy and I know I'm going to feel at home.  The first time I walked in I could just tell that it was right.  Watch for the forthcoming housewarming party! (If they ever get the paperwork done...)

My Starting Bio for the Team

Once upon a time, long long ago (ok, so not that long ago, but you get the picture) in a small western Washington town, there was a girl born named Heather Ferguson.  After spending her summers at Microsoft (3 in all including stints with both the NetGen and Messenger teams) between years at the educational institution known as Cornell University, Heather has finally landed on the MSN Communications Client team for her full time endeavors.  And this is where our protagonist finds herself now.

When she was born she had a mess of dark brown hair—able to avoid the usual baldness that afflicts most infants.  She was a loud baby, both in her cries and laughter.  As she grew, she could often be found reading, one of her favorite books being The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales, which inspired much of her work during her college years (you think I’m kidding).

At school she studied both Sociology and English and as such often receives strange looks when telling others of her employment at the ubiquitous software giant.  In her senior year she completed a thesis exploring the relationship between children’s books (hence the narrative style of this recapitulation of her life) and their expression of sensitive social themes, but mostly enjoyed looking at the pretty pictures and bright colors.

Leading up to current times, Heather has developed many “special” traits including a love of all things from the nefarious decade known as “the 80s,” an ever-prevalent and demanding gluttony for items containing sucrose, especially those where elements of the cacao seed are also present and a joy of baking (which may in fact be tied to the latter of the two previously mentioned traits).  She has also maintained much of the characteristics mentioned earlier, including but not limited too an excessively loud laugh, and a voracious love of reading.  Oh, and some of that brown hair stuff I mentioned too.

She is excited to be joining the team and expects that in the inevitable and exhilarating challenges approaching, she will be given the ability to add to the narrative tension that forms the story of her life as well as add to the cast of characters that populate her tale…
